This is interesting. I prefer Beck's... but here in Germany there is no light.

We have 'Beck's Gold'... a beer for younger people. Tastes less strong but has even a lil' bit more alcohol...

I'm wondering why light beer seems to be that popular in America. Especially
because Whiskey seems to be popular, too... so I thought you could handle
    alcohol... :supergrin

That's because light beers have no balls.

Most Americans don't know what good beer is. Look at the beers produced over here. Bud, Miller, Coors, etc... The darkest of all of these beers is probably lighter than the lightest of the German beers.

Of course, there are SOME good beers brewed over here. But they are not nearly as popular as the water mentioned above... My guess is because of the price.

I don't know if they sell Terrapin in North Carolina, but it is brewed here in Athens and everyone loves it to death.
