Bruce Arians is acting like Calais Campbell is the first player to ever get chop blocked. Yeah it was pretty dirty, but god damn.

 

Yeah, I've liked Arians for a long time and have taken a lot of shit for saying he was the best part of that Pitt coaching staff, of which I still believe. (Tomlin's been incredibly overrated for a while, IMO)

But jesus hell he is acting stupid. Shut up about the block already. It happens, man.

 

It wasn't half as bad as the leg whip Cannon put on CJ last year.

It was a dirty play, and one that was unquestionably intentional regardless of what Fox claims. The lure was a new wrinkle, but taking DLs out at the knees happens every season. I'd like to see them remove it from the game entirely and let Julius Thomas decide if he's man enough to hit Calais Campbell in the torso.

 

Bruce is butt-hurt because it happened to one of his best players, which is understandable.

 

They also took out Talib in the AFCCG. Fox is becoming a dirty old bastard.

 

He wants them to be "tougher" and thinks they can do that by taking cheap shots, but good teams still manhandle them in the trenches.
