I don't think that list is entirely up to date. He was the agent who was trying to get Pacman into the preseason.

If every other team in the NFL is doing it then the Panthers are going to have to do it too. They ought to just sign the guy before he misses too much camp. He is a later first rounder anyway so the dollars should not be that huge in the first place.

pay attention... the dollars aren't the issue. Seems they've agreed on "amounts". The problem is in how those amounts are being distributed.

Rosinski hinted on his show that the sentiment he's hearing from Panthers players is that Beason's agent is trying to take a stand with beason for future player contracts from Miami......

Just stating what I heard on the radio just now.

On a different issue, he interviewed Fox, Hurney, and also just now nate Salley.

Hell we throw around 1.3 mil tenders like it's nothing, do a standard deal and get the guy in here.

that is exactly how the agent wants the fans to think. if the front office is buying into it, Beason's deal will get done the way the agent wants.

If, as the one article posted states, this is the way the Panthers have done rookie contracts for years and years the agent really has no legs to stand on. He's asking them to change the way they do business and not the other way around. From the looks of his client list, Beason is his only 1st round pick (given that Brady had another agent when drafted) and he's looking to cash in. The agent is really undermining himself and his clients by airing all of the negotiations in the press and he's going to cost his clients money if not jobs in the long run.

PFT said he was Pac Man JOnes' client for pacman's rookie deal.

Pacman missed all but 4 days of training camp.
