Just for curiosity, "IF" Chicago signs King will they sign him to a shorter contract and still draft a QB to groom while King plays out the contract? If everything else is the same, I would rather have Peete back as he knows the offence. Unless we can get King or Delhomme at a reasonable rate. Would be nice though to have a shot at Leftwich. *pipedream* Andre Johnson is still my hope pick

    UPDATE

Bears | More QB Notes - posted at KFFL (http://nfl.kffl.com)
19:57 PT: Larry Mayer reports for ChicagoBears.com that Chicago Bears’ General Manager Jerry Angelo would like to sign a free agent QB and draft another one in the upcoming draft. According to Angelo, “I would like to get a veteran with experience and if we could do something on draft day, that would be good as well.” The Bears have the 4th pick in the draft, but Angelo indicated he wouldn’t necessarily use that pick on a QB. However, he also stated, “If we feel the right guy’s there, we won’t shy away from him.”

If these fucks get King AND Leftwich I'll be pissed. They were ravaged with injuries this year and along with a cake of a schedule "could" make some serious noise next year along with a good pair of young QB's next year
