i'd heard simms and palmer. who was the other. i'll guess Ragone since he'd be my last choice.

I could see King in Chi-town, but not Plummer. I still expect the Bears to try to move up to #1 and get Palmer.

I think Plummer would be great in Chicago. he's tough and smart. the bears need that. King doens't have enough experience the pack and vikes will eat him alive....

Ya, he's tough...but look at his TD/INT ratio and tell me how smart he is.
The only reason I could see King there is the connection, otherwise, I say they go after Palmer.

Look at the team he was playing for, I would throw it to the other team too.

but seriously, I don't like those kinds of stats....not all INT's are the quarterback's fault. I'd give him a shot in Chicago, what have they got to lose??

I would agree that his ratio skews more towards the negative than he really is, but he does make some really bad decisions w/ the ball.
Either way, the Bears need both a FA and a rookie. Otherwise, they'll be paying their medical staff triple time just to work on their QB's again, and McCaskey is a notorious tight ass.

I guess I'm just nervous about them using a first round pick to get a QB. I still have a bitter taste in my mouth from that whole Cade McNown thing.

I really thought Chandler would play better for them. I do not think King or Plummer has the arm to be the guy for the Bears. They need a guy with a strong arm who can throw the long ball. King and Plummer are both better suited to the dink and dunk.

I would try to get Palmer if I were the Bears. They need a lot of help on offense.
