I look at the top 25 and I think this Saturday is the true National Championship and the game we see in January will end up being little more than a Chumpionship game.

No doubt, #1 will end up being the winner of the OSU/Mich. game. But which one of the 1 lose leftovers will end up being the loser in the Jan version?

#3 USC - Not the USC we're used to, a little more conservative on Offense...not as dominating on D. However, the D is good enough that I would consider them one of two one loss teams worthy of a shot.

#4 Florida - No Way do they deserve to be ranked this high, let alone a shot at the Sears Trophy. They are simply the best team in Florida...which doesn't say much at all.

#5 Notre Dame - The early NC hype has faded, but the Irish are as solid if not more so than the other one loss wonders. Ultimately, thier match-up with USC will make the decision easy.

#7 Arkansas - Love the way these guys play the game, they are just fun to watch, BUT they won't get a shot based on the Hollywood factor...they just aren't as Glamtabulous as SC and ND.

#8 West Virginia - If anyone wants to make an argument here, might as well make the same arguement for #10 Louisville.

    #9 Wisconsin - Um, NO!

I am not forgetting the unbeatens, I left them out because everyone else is so full of shit that they will leave them out as well...HOWEVER, if Rutgers completes the sweep and finishes spotless, why the hell not? They will have beated Louisville and West Virginia...more top ten opponents than some of those 1 loss teams have seen.
Rutgers, I find them as deserving as any of the one loss teams...moreso than Florida, WV, and Wisconsin!
OK, I admittedly had no intention of including Boise State...the ONLY argument for them is being undefeated. Rutgers at least has some quality wins.

Sure, the Scarlet Knights ONLY beat UNC 26-21, they followed it with a 33-0 man handling of an Illinois team that gave #1 OSU a run for thier money a few weeks ago. They handled Ohio Navy and Howard quite easily, and edged a decent South Florida team 22-20 in addition to a solid 20-10 win over Pitt...they did make UConn look better than they are though. Then folowed that with the HUGE upset over Louisville.

Now, Rutgers has A fiesty Cincinnati team @ Cincy, followed by Syracuse who only strikes fear when playing them @ the Dome...could be a trap game though...Then comes the biggest game in Rutgers history, West Virginia.

I see no reason to with hold Rutgers if the win out, especially if they manage to do so in convincing fashion.

Notre Dame sucks fat monkey cock. Charlie Weis has never defeated a team that ended up in the top 25 at the end of the year and he won't this year unless they upset USC. They have played one ranked team this year and got taken to the woodshed. Their strength of schedule is 42 and it took a miracle comeback to beat crappy Michigan State. Florida has the #8 strength of schedule in the country right now. Notre Dame has a breeze of a schedule. It's very similar to Wisconsin's as of right now. Only team both have played is Michigan and both have lost. If the OSU-Mich game is close they deserve a rematch. USC might have a tough strength of schedule but they lost to Oregon State. If Florida beats Arky in the SECCG then they deserve to go if USC loses a game. I don't think there's any way USC wins the next two games against Cal and Notre Dame. Rutgers deserves to go over Notre Dame. Just listening to Charlie Weis bitch and moan makes me want to hit him in the face. He's such a jackass.
