There's a good chance that Oregon will beat Stanford on Saturday night. They've been cruising along since losing to LSU on week 1. Flipside for Stanford is that they move ahead of Alabama with a win.

I see Oregon winning against Stanford and also predict Oklahoma will beat OK State, setting up an LSU-Alabama rematch in New Orleans.

Also, stay tuned after the conference championships are decided, I will release a theoretical national tournament as I've done in years past. This year, I'm tweaking it to the format FCS schools are now using and incorporating it for FBS schools.

Never mind Collin, he's a turd that needs to be flushed again.

I guess it would depend on the playoff system, but you're almost certainly wrong about "20 teams" having the chance to get in. You're also out of your fucking mind about Houston having any chance to secure a spot in an eight team tournament. There's just no way. Meanwhile Boise State could have made their own case by scheduling 3 tough BCS opponents in any particular season, but instead they intentionally only schedule one at the beginning of the season when upsets are most likely, and then cry in the media about getting left out.

Facts are facts, clown. The reality is that if an 8+ team playoff existed, the LSU-Alabama game wouldn't have meant much at all and certainly wouldn't have generated nearly as much interest as it did. No one even cares about the college basketball season, and there's not a lot of interest in the conference tournaments unless your team needs to win to get in the NCAA tournament. Or look at NASCAR with this idiotic "Chase." A playoff marginalizes everything else.

You know I think you're a special level of moron, but even you're not stupid enough to believe this. "LSU-Alabama would still carry all the excitement" "for tournament seeding purposes"? Really? Jesus Christ, man. If you're going to lie to justify something you want even though you know it's wrong, at least pick a believable lie. Holy crap.

I agree that there are too many bowl games now, which makes some of them "meaningless," but most bowl games are awesome. My earliest memory is going to the Gator Bowl with my parents, and I've been going to bowl games ever since.

I think bowl games are the best time of the year. Most all of them, meaningless or not, are usually pretty good games- no matter who is playing.

Even with a crappy, weak, schedule, Houston is ranked #11 in the BCS. They probadly will end up in the top 8 by the end of the regular season.

Well if you are talking only 8 teams, this really wouldn't apply to say Alabama. They couldn't take the chance to rest players and get a 2nd lose.

Fair enough, but I think most playoff models involve conference champions and not just the top 8.

The BS is going to get lucky. Oregon is going to knock off Stanford. Oklahoma is going to beat Oklahoma State, and Alabama will play LSU again for the BS title (not championship without a playoff) Boise is not a factor because they are Boise.
