    Boise State

They'll probadly go undefeated. Don't we need Boise to get thumped one time so everybody will stop talking about them. I think the Bama-LSU winner would kill them this year.

you'll probably get to find out. I don't think Boize plays for the NC, but if they go unbeaten, they'll play the loser of this weekend's alabama-lsu game, probably in the sugar bowl.

and, georgia will probably win the SEC west. so we'll find out how Boize compares to the big bad SEC teams when UGA plays for the conf. championship. Boize beat snot out of the Bulldogs and would again if they played this weekend.

Yes, Boize plays in an inferior conference, but they're better than all but two teams (Bama and LSU) in the SEC. don't know how anyone could argue against that. THe team they have could easily go unbeaten playing in any conference but the SEC and Big 12.

    Bama-LSU

Yea, it appears that the loser of the Bama-LSU game will drop to #3 behind Oklahoma State in the BCS and those 2 will be neck & neck in points for the #2 spot. The loser will not fall far at all.

With Ala/LSU behind us, we now need Oregon to beat Stanford, Ark to beat LSU, and OK to beat Ok St. If that could play out, it would indeed create a huge BCS mess.

#1) No, it really wouldn't. LSU will have to lose twice not to get a championship berth, and at minimum Boise will end up undefeated. On that note, I think Boise can beat LSU even though they're clearly not as good a team overall.

#2) How can you be so oblivious that you don't realize that yesterday proved how much a playoff would hurt college football? People who don't give a shit about LSU or Alabama eagerly anticipated the game, and for good reason. If there were a playoff at the end of the year, not nearly as many would have cared since both teams would end up in the playoff field regardless, so the game would have meant very little.

I see your point, but if there was a playoff, I think it would create a whole lot more excitement nationwide w/ numerous more teams trying to be selected for a playoff. Right now, all we're talking about is the 4-5 teams who still have a shot at the BCS Championship game, whereas if there was a playoff, we'd probadly have close to 20 teams with a legitimate chance to still play their way into some sort of playoff. Even with a 8 team playoff system, a team like Houston could probadly win enough to finish in the top 8, and we'd never have to worry about Boise State not getting their chance to play for it.

just ignore Collin, the blubbering buffoon, one of the few who keeps harping on how much more excitement there is attached to one or two regular season games instead of focusing on the ten fold excitement there would be around three to four weekends of playoff games.

That is a no brainer that all college football fans recognize. Besides the fact that regular season games like LSU-Alabama would still carry all the excitement of traditional college rivalries AND the importance of winning those games for tournament seeding purposes.

Collin's way we end up with his super exciting regular season games, some of which happen in September and end the season with a thud full of meaningless crap bowl games and one championship game between two teams decided by a mathematical formula instead of the two survivors of a win or go home tournament.

    FUCK THAT SHIT

Since Alabama lost, I want them to play Boise St. in the Sugar Bowl. Shut those loud mouth fans once and for all.
