BCS Championship Time: Who will be screwed?

    I think you have to finish in the top 14 to be eligible for an at-large bid, which eliminated Michigan State.

    How did Va Tech get a BCS bowl? Tech played one good team all year and got blown out TWICE by that one good team. :headscratch:

    osu lost to a 6-6 team. no one has ever played for the mnc when losing to a 6-6 team.

    You have to be in the top 14, which eliminated a lot of teams like Michigan State and Georgia. Arkansas and South Carolina weren't eligible since you're only allowed two teams per conference (unless the #1 & #2 teams aren't the conference champion). That left the at-large bids between Stanford, Boise State, Kansas State, Virginia Tech, Baylor, Michigan, and Oklahoma.

    The BCS proposed to the NCAA that they handle only the championship game, and none of the other bowls.

    At least the voters finally found a way to beat the SEC in the BCS Championship game.

    boise is eighth in AP, seventh bcs. they deserved it more than Michigan or VaTech
