I wont be. Its going to be up to the human vote which will pretty much be the south vs the rest of the usa. everyone outside outside of the SEC hates the SEC. Cant beat them on the field so lets vote them out.

Let it happen. I'm going to empty my account on LSU. History shows this will be blowout.

but a +1 also takes out some of the fluke possiblilty. Really think OSU loses to Iowa state again? Not even in 10 tries. Think Alabama misses 4 field goals in a game again? nope. Think the clear no. 2 team, Alabama, deserves to be left out the bcscg because they are in the same division as LSU? nope. Put them in any other confernce and they are 12-0.
Imagine if OSU were to beat Alabama and LSU for the MNC. LSU beats Houston and OSU for the MNC. Think anyone is going to argue over who the champ is?

p.s. I left VA tech out because when you play Marshall, App st, Ark st, East Carolina and get blown the fuck out at home in your toughest game, you deserve to be left out.

What difference does the body of work mean if they still can't play for the championship because of one bad day?

    Pretty much.

BTW, you could probably build that account a little bit more by getting in on LSU over UGA now.

If they beat enough quality teams convincingly enough, they absolutely could. Virginia Tech & Stanford would be in the mix for the championship game if they hadn't played horrible schedules.

That's the point. Even if they had played great schedules, then you'd have 3 or 4 teams all sitting there, behind LSU, with one loss and quality schedules and only two spots in the game.

    Yep. 11.5 here. It's 13.5 now.

One thing on scheduling. I don't know why ANY team would schedule a difficult OOC game anymore when simply running the table is enough to get you in the BCS championship. All VT had to do was beat Clemson and no one would've cared about the crappy teams we played OOC. Same for Stanford.

Even if we did play someone decent OOC and lose, we are never getting the benefit of the doubt (and shouldn't) over a one-loss SEC team. I would schedule paycheck games every year.
