    gotcha. i guess they got to seven wins and realized they'd already matched last season's output so they could take it easy the rest of the season.

    really, tho, they would do much better to just go ahead and crap out the rest of the way. this team needs talent in a big way. the lotto is the best option for the team at the moment. maybe get a nice top 5 in 2013, a decent mid-lotto pick in 2014, then hope detroit continues to suck so you can land an extra high lotto pick as the team actually starts to put things together.

    detroit's pick is top 8 protected in 2014 and top 1 protected in 2015. hopefully they'd get the 2015 pick.
