jordan on the culture of the bobcats: "I want to establish a culture within in this organization so that when you plug a guy in, the culture is sitting there and no one guy is bigger than that culture," Jordan said. "You either fit in or you don't fit in. When you look at organizations that are established they have a winning culture." he's absolutely right -- a winning culture is a requirement to do well. but that flies in the face of what he's down since he's taken over. he blew up a playoff team and turned them into the worst team ever. that tells everybody on the planet that losing is expected, if not outright desired.

How about that. Bobcats win their home opener against the Pacers. Looking at the box score it's hard to get a feeling as far as how. Out rebounded by 12, beaten in shooting percentage (both in high 30's) but the Bobcats caused 17 turnovers and only had 10 of their own. Kidd-Gilcrest 2 points?! Oye ve

Kemba went beast mode and Henderson was solid. The bobcats looked good defensively. Offensively they had good looks, but didnt knock them down. Sessions and Gordon are good compliments off the bench. The Bobcats are better, but still not very talented. I wasn't at the game, but it looked like they had a good crowd. I know they went crazy when DJ missed that last second shot.

Looks like the Cats certainly stole one last night. Out shot and out rebounded by 10+ yet the foul line was not good to the Pacers. I think they missed around 9 free throws and lost the game by 1.
    Whew!

On the negative side, Tyrus Thomas is still garbage and Biyombo is going to be nothing more than a good shot blocker.

Can`t say anything positive on Thomas, but I think Bismack is less than 20 years old(?) so he still has plenty of time to stretch his talents.
He had 4 rebounds and 2 blocks and shot 1 of 2 in 17 minutes of action. I`ll take that from him this year while splitting duty with Haywood and Mullens.

One night after a 1 point escape the Cats suffer a 27 point blowout loss. No adustments were made to stop fastbreaks or guarding 3 point attempts.

the main problem is that the bobcats suck. until you can adjust for that, it's all moot.

It's hard to watch MJ fail so miserably as an executive.

I'd like them to be competitive. I root for small market teams, and I guess you can fit Charlotte under that umbrella. Memphis is the closest thing I have to a favorite NBA team.
