BB&T Ballpark (2014)-New Home for AAA Charlotte Knights - a set on Flickr

After playing the last 20+ years in Suburban Fort Mill, SC, the AAA Charlotte Knights (Chicago White Sox) finally broke ground on their new Uptown home, BB&T Ballpark :) :) !!!!

Charlotte Knights Future Baseball Stadium In Uptown Charlotte

Even though the team plays 10 minutes from my casa, in the long run this move back Uptown will be a huge boost for the Knights; A much better central location will mean increased attendance. I mean, summer nights watching affordable minor league baseball with the Uptown skyline in the backdrop will more than offset my personal convience to going to a Knights game (which has only been a handful of times over the last few years).

This FLICKR Album will feature update photos as I head Uptown over the next 18 months to see the ballpark rise out of the ground to completion . . . Stay tuned and follow along :) :) !!!!!

PS: This site isn't affiliate with the Charlotte Knights, Chicago White Sox, or the CRVA . . This is purely fan driven :) :) !!!!
