    The Galactica I expected to contain a dirth of command level officer types considering it was a soon to be mothballed ship, but I would have expected the Pegasus under the guidance of Admiral Cain would should have had a lot more than just the black market XO and the narrow minded snipe to take over the reigns....

    Cmdr. Adama should make Starbuck his XO and bring his girlfriend over to the bridge of the Pegasus and then he could probably have some interesting "command" meetings in his private quarters.

    Cain seemed like the type to get rid of anyone she saw as a threat. I kind of wonder why he did not put Tigh in charge of Pegasus though...

    Pegasus should have some serious battle damage now, I wonder if that will be in the future story lines?

    Tigh has already proven that he is not head man material he would make a shamble of things in no time. Adama wants to keep him close at hand to baby sit him.

    Adama would still be able to keep watch over him. Tigh was unable to deal with the politics of the fleet but he is a capable commander of the ship. I guess he would be drunk all the time if Adama could not keep an eye on him.

    Well, I would say the drunk thing would probably get him. Plus, he is kind of a jackass and doesn't really inspire loyalty.

    That is true but he is nothing if not loyal to Adama. He would never go against orders and jump into a cylon trap. I think he is just a hardass but good in an emergency.

    Excellent point but quite frankly I think that Lee is a chip off the old block and probably is the best pick for the job.
