What I mean is that it looked (I thought) in the movie that he might get over 6 being in his brain. I don't think so now.

I did not like the idea of starbuck being a woman either but it is not that bad. The girl that plays the role is not bad. I think she has studied Dirk Benedict or something cause she almost mimics some his facial expressions at times.

They are letting Richard Hatch, who played Apollo in the original series, have a recurring role on the series. I think that is a classy move and makes me like the show more. Hatch wanted to see a continuation of the original series set twenty years later. He fought this series pretty hard. For them to let him come on board is pretty cool. I wanted the continuation too so I almost feel like they are "reaching out" to fans like me who wanted to see the original show continued.

Ronald D. Moore did some good work on Star Trek TNG and he has done a great job so far on BSG.

Dude. It's Sci-Fi. They'll run it in repetitive 8 hour blocks if you missed it the three times it was on last weekend.

I like it. But I thought the second episode about Boomer and the water was the type of cheesy bullshit they were going to avoid. That storyline will get old fast.

The first episode was much better than the second. The story where they had to keep jumping every 33 minutes to avoid destruction was great. I would just as soon lose the story lines with the cylon infiltrators pretty soon cause you are right they will get old.

What was cheesy about it? It's not like Boomer knows why she's doing the stuff she's doing.

Let's see.... guy knows Boomer might have blown the water, guy knows Boomer knew about missing bomb that showed up on her own ship because she pointed it out.

Instead of reporting missing bombs and what he knows to save what is left of mankind, he instead listens to his loins and keeps those secrets.

Sure. I can believe that one.

:D If it makes you feel better, I agree with Thelt about the first episode and I pretty much bought everything up until there.

But I wanted her shot at the end of the second episode.

I'm telling you, much like that hot cyborg on Star Trek they are gonna save her and turn her to their side somehow
