I don't understand the recent turn in the attidude toward Jenkins. The guy got injured two years (not his fault) then has a good year especially considering he hd been out for two.

Like the team I'd prefer him to come to the voluntary camps but it's not like he's the first NFL player or Panther for that matter to skip the workouts. (Smith). He became a villain overnight.

People are sheep. The media turned on him both because it was a slow time of year and because many "columnists" are sheep too who just pile on to whatever popular bandwagon someone else started. We've not even heard one word from Jenkins or his agent that he wanted out of Carolina. In fact, I can't recall one bad thing he's done. I've been outspoken in defense of him this whole time and I hope that everyone on this board who was so critical of him will think about what they said and why they said it. Those people need to learn to think for themselves and not be led around by the latest column or rumor from someone who wouldn't know enough about football to coach Peewee.

Vick did kill those dogs, but only to save them from the wrath of Kris Jenkins.

Well, I sort of like the humor of the vs threads, but basically my feeling has ALWAYS been if a guy is signed to the team, I want him to succeed PERIOD. I want to see Kris on the field making believers out of everyone. Same with Gamble, Colbert - all of them. They're on our team and I want them to ALL have great years. I want this to be the year Gamble puts it all together, Lucas is 100% with a Smitty like chip on his shoulder, Jake makes his first season with us look mediocre with his play this season and on and on.

As long as they're in Panther uniforms, I'm 100% behind them.
