Nobody is ruining the game. It has been and always will be a great game.

then what changed to make me stop caring about it, other than the spoiled fuckers going on strike, and the majority of the payroll in one or two cities?

And by game, I do mean MLB, not baseball in general. Baseball on the lower organized levels is still loads of fun. Which bears my point about the owners and athletes in MLB being the problem.

its called love for the game folks. sounds like you never loved the game in the first place. my 7 yr old daughter doesn't listen all the time, and that is upsetting to me. but, i still love her.

if you have a true love for the game, just like a kid, you can forgive. if not, well then just get the hell outta my way at the park and quit talking on your damn cell phone while i'm watching the game.

You probably never cared about it all that much in the first place. If you did you wouldn't be so quick to give up on it. But that's fine, there are plenty of other sports out there for you.

Of the 17 Marlins players that appeared in the 2003 series, 11 are still there.

lol, i've heard it all, comparing the unconditional love for your kid to loving a game populated by athletes who obviously love the money more than the game itself. Ironic, huh? It's a shame those players who went on strike twice in the past 15 or so years don't love the game as much as you two.

I wouldn't consider myself fairweather, that actually implies that I might somehow become interested again when the weather clears.
