    You mean an asterisk* next to their name like Roger Maris had for the homerun record. That's bullshit. Why wait until after their death? Must be some type of punishment. I think they removed the asterisk tho...

    Rose fucked up when he didn't come clean early in his suspension. He played off public sentiment and hoped that message board banter would make the HOF bring him in and ignore the one cardinal rule that will keep a player out of the Hall. Had he made an honest apology that wasn't a book selling tool after a year or two he would already be in the HOF. Now he is just a desperate old fool that has no chance with the veterans committee. Fuck him. You make your bed, now sleep in it.


    Also wasn't it ironic that Rose's son was just indited for steroid trafficking
