    The Babe was juiced on hotdogs I guess.The Babe could hit them a mile and he was pretty fast during his younger days.The Babe had more career triples than any active player in MLB.The Babe had 136 career triples to go along with those 714 HRS.Throw in over 100 wins as a pitcher and I guess the guy was the greatest all around player to play the game.He could pretty much do it all.He was way ahead of his time.

    Baba Ruth was cool, even though he was a Yankee (but none of the others were since then) ok......maybe Mantle.......and Yogi, but THATS IT!

    I actually became a Yankee fan for a few years when Don Mattingly played for them.

    He was and still is one of my all time favorite players. He had an incredible year for the old Greensboro Hornets back in 1980. For all those rings the Yankees won in the 90s it sucked that Mattingly retired the year before that run started.
