Baron Davis demands a trade

Yeah, it's a jackass move. He had his chance NOT to play for Shinn last summer. He chose to take the money. He knew the situation, but still re-upped for the Max. Like I said "couldn't happen to a 'better' organization." But it's still a jackass move to sign for the max and then demand a trade. Typical NBA bullshit as far as I'm concerned.

 

I think me made that decision on the team actually trying to compete. After firing your best coach to get Tim Floyd and not able to get any backup PG what-so-ever, hell yea I would want a trade...its not like he's the 1st superstar to ask for one. I guess Shaq and Jason Kidd would be jackasses too. Plus he resigned two summers ago (when the team was in MUCH better shape basketball wise).

 

Becareful what you wish for NO! I can't believe Stern will bail these guys out ever again. I can see the NBA forcing them to sell the team or lose their NBA license. I am also glad Gerry V got suckered by these guys too. Have fun covering minor league hockey in two years Gerry.

Shaq, no. He didn't resign last summer. I guess since it's September, Baron technically resigned two summers ago, but it was barely over a year ago. Paul Silas had already been fired. Baron knew what he was getting into. He's being a jackass.

 

I've been banned from hornetsreport.com several times myself. I was not flaming nor was I talking about Shinnridge. If those ignorant bastards hear you say ANYTHING negative about the Hornets, no matter how true, you're automatically banned. With the star player wanting out and the attendance gone to shit and the NBA on their ass, I wonder what those dumb shits will talk about now?

 

Anyone feel like trading a pick or two that way?

If Baron is unhappy playing for the Hornets, I seriously doubt he'd consider coming to an expansion team. We probably can't even get him under our cap.
