    It's not entirely their fault. If they had fired Herb I would be laughing at their helplessness. Do they have any assistants that could step it up?

    Larry Harris was the longtime coach at the U of Ohio (I think) before he got fired and became Herb's assistant. He's been a candidate for some mid-majors.

    Archie Miller isn't really ready, and neither are the other guys.

    Crean is still living off the Final Four run. He's the man at Marquette. Why give that up for State and those fans?
