I've had Wachovia for 14 years. Couple problems here and there with deposits not being credited, etc. Free checking, no fee account is the only way to go.

It's really a matter of convenience as most banks offer the same stuff. I really like banking online so I went with BofA after being with BB&T for many, many years. The instant transaction updating keeps me from having to remember when I put all those debit transaction receipts. I've heard Wachovia is pretty good also.

If you don't like big banks, there are many smaller community banks in the area as well. Take your pick.

I was thinking of BofA because of the round up thing they advertise on debit card usage and putting it into your savings account etc. Seems like an easy way to save a little here and there without noticing it (I've found that works best for me) and besides it makes it easy to add and subtract your checking account that way.

I have not gone that route yet but I see your point. Don't be fooled though, it helps BofA more than it helps you.

Tony keeps my money down at the ristoraunte. Like a bank, you know, except it's better than a bank, 'cause banks always get knocked off.
