    His voice gets on my nerves after a while. I think if you removed the instrumentation, it would be as bad as Linda McCartney singin backup on Hey Jude.

    The gipsy thing at bad tho man - I really like DeVotchKa. In moderate doses.

    I have no idea who Yuck is, and that post is a month old, but holy fucking irony batman.

    Wilco a/k/a Jeff Tweedy & Son Volt a/k/a Jay Farrar, invented the genre as Uncle Tupelo. The "official" magazine of the genre is named after an Uncle Tupelo album, for crissakes (No Depression).

    That's like sayin Jesus is about the 4th or 5th best Christian.

    BTW, Ryan Adams should kiss Jeff Tweedy's ass daily, for his career. And deep down, Adams knows it. If it weren't for UT & Wilco, Whiskeytown would never have existed.

    I used to work with a guy who dated their bookkeeper(??) I have tons of live stuff that he burned for me.

    They're okay, I just am not big on jam bands.
