    How about some "come-back" bands who survive on the classic-longevity they have produced, instead of the new music. You know ... LOVED them then ... HATE them now. Even though you may or may not currently respect them.

    This pretty much describes my attitude towards most of the 80's stuff - although HATE may be a strong word. Great for nostalgia, not too great for the bands' reps looking back on them. Most of them are currently lining their pockets by overcharging for tour dates this summer.
