    I agree he's a "smart man". He found a niche in the musical culture that needed a face, and became that face. But his music sucks, and the act has worn thin. It was a brilliant move originally, but it has just gotten old. He turned 2 mediocre 80's songs, into 2 mediocre songs in the current decade. Maybe you overestimated him.
