..Pretty interesting considering the Redskins just said they had no interest in Matthews... Spurrier is either going to look like a complete genious or the laughing stock of the NFL this season.

ESPN story (from Len) says it's because the Ball Coach was disappointed in what he saw in minicamp...go figure. As if any of the other guys were going to look like Superman.

well, i think all those gators may be there in pre-season to help preach the fun-n-gun gospel to the more talented players. i'll be interested to see how many actually make the final roster.

I'm sure Craig will land somewhere. I was actually hoping he would have gone back to NFLE a year or two, broke some more records and come back to the NFL. He would still be relatively young compared to the average age of NFL QBs...

Maybe you should consider being a freelance NFL quarterbacks consultant. You know, like an agent but not.

Shane has more ability than Danny, who may be on the way out. He’ll stick, and may be the opening day starter. The competition for future QB will be between Ramsey and Rosenfelds. A late first round rookie versus a second round softmore. Those will be the 3 at any rate, and Danny and Craig will find himself cut by the end of pre-season. Craig is my guess now, and Danny later, they actually traded to get Danny.

McFly, you’ve seen Sage play a bunch I assume. What’s your take?

do they even make redskins visors?? God, i hope that ballcoach loses every game. Maybe that'll humble 'em.

First, sorry Piper - I did not even read the story you linked - it was Len's story. This would make me a dumbass I guess.

Can't speak for McFly, but I I have to believe that Ramsey will win that job before Sage will. Ramsey played worse comp than Sage (C-USA vs. Big 12), but got to do more on O because of the O at Tulane. Just my take though...I really like Ramsey.
