Tepper got mad and demanded a qb. Rhule didn't stand up for his guy. Spineless. that's probably one of the qualities tepper wants.

We can say Mayfield has been bad independent of McAdoo's playcalling, while also acknowledging the fact that McAdoo is calling a bunch of dogshit that Cleveland intentionally removed from their offense because Mayfield wasn't comfortable doing it, like RPOs and slant/flats.

It's bad QB play supercharged by horrid, incompetent coaching.

Remember when there was this guy in our division who was on the short side, and his coach and OC designed plays with open throwing lanes?

Jeff Nixon called plays last year after Brady was fired, but I'm not sure he would be much of an improvement.

Certainly not a new issue. Did the Panthers' coaching staff know or care?

"It was the 10th time since he entered the league in 2018 that he had three or more turnovers in a game, the most of any quarterback."

Do you think Rhule takes any responsibility for this?
    Doesn't sound like it.

"Rhule shot down speculation that Mayfield's struggles could be linked to not getting as many preseason repetitions because they were divided evenly with Darnold through most of camp.

"Right now, it's about trying to get this fixed,'' he said."
