Just got back from it, and in my opinion it was horrible. I am pretty picky about movies but the 5 others I was with also agreed that it wasn't very good. You can only get so many laughs from blatant cussing before it gets old. It reminded my why I don't go see movies often. The whole theatre seemed pretty quiet and dissappointed.

Not sure what movie you saw but Bad Santa was hilarious - it was exactly as I pictured Billy Bob Thornton <in real life> as a boozed out, womanizing, department store Santa.

The movie wasn't supposed to be anything but a bunch of crude jokes - not exactly a dramatic production, if you wanted that go see House of Sand & Fog.

    * Just a note. Thornton has been nominated for a Golden Globe for his performance in the film (Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture - Musical or Comedy)

my date was the only person not laughing in a packed theatre. my guts hurt from laughing so hard. I never tire of blatant anti-social cussing scenes.
