I don't know about a link, but I do know his injo=ury was degenerative, which means it'd NEVER get better. That doesn't always mean that the player will never play again, just that his days are numbered.

No I do not have a link. To be honest, you probably wont hear about this until right before the draft or right after.

Well, not much of a surprise I guess. I figured we'd seen all we would see of Bruce Nelson.

Hey - we're getting better. Used to be all of our 1st round picks were busts, he's a second!

Settlement buyout same difference. He won't get the total amount his contract calls for (ie a settlement) End result, he won't have a Panther uniform in his locker :xyzthumbs

I didn't need a link to think this would happen. And if it is or isn't true, it doesn't honestly matter to me.

Guys, I think this Panthers84 is a Panther's insider. He posted on the Charlotte.com board with the same news and people asked him how he gets the news. Here was his reply:

    From: Panther84 9:38 am
    To: AttackCat (5 of 11)

    14447.5 in reply to 14447.4

My initials are not BB and there is not a website. I usually get most of my information from the horses mouth instead of relying on hearsay.

Also, let me add this, too, to what he said about Davis:

    From: Panther84 12:29 pm
    To: PANTHERNC (11 of 11)

    14447.11 in reply to 14447.8

I have heard the same thing about Davis and his knee but I do not know that for sure. What I have heard is that whenever he is active on it, running/lifting etc that it swells up and becomes tight. I think time will tell if the surgery will help. Going back to Nelson, his condition is getting worse and I am pretty sure you can see some action taken some time in the future regarding his future with the Panthers.
