It is a pinful day for me, although I knew Perkins was a moron and would stay in the draft. How stupid do you have to be to stay in the draft and be picked as late as the late second round?

well bad for CUSA, but that is downright comical.

Guess Cal ain't so great now is he?

Looks like 8 more years with no NCAA wins. :D

Hey mike, would Perkins have qualified or was the NBA the option other than JUCO?

Perkins is a moron, no doubt about that.

And with the 57th pick in the 2003 NBA Draft, the Dallas Mavericks select Kendrick Perkins....

Not what all kids exactly dream to hear...

I guess he didn't watch MTV - First Year. It highlighted a kid that made the same move and it didn't work out. He then tried Turkey (back in a week), tried a couple of other leagues, and the D-league with no luck. SAD.

I saw that Al, pretty sad. Just like the NBDL coaches said, the players go to college to "learn the game. We don't have time here to teach them the game."

That's the really ridiculous part...he was qualified.

And, metro, Cal recruits just fine. Yes, we lost a top 10 recruit that was a McDonald's All American, but we will be fine.
