It's a little sore this afternoon. But I spent most of the day taking it easy. Sitting on the patio, reading and watching the greedy birds torment the cat. Imma give it another day and see how it feels tomorrow. Not hurting now. Just sore.

Not to hijack your thread, Builder, but I've been having back problems myself for the past month. I've had these evil little burning knots all over my mid to upper back, shoulders, and neck. I went to urgent care last Friday, and it was diagnosed as muscle spasms, which makes sense to me. I was given prescriptions of vicodin and motrin, and told to use heat treatment for a few days and see what happens. I'm feeling better, but not back to normal. I'm thinking it may take a while -- muscles contracted that much for that long are going to take some time to loosen up, not to mention the lactic acid that builds up in the tissue.

Find a GOOD massage therapist, I cant' believe the wonders they can do. But one that's into deep tissue, not one that's just gonna make you feel good for the moment. Also mine says do heat then ice back and forth. Took two days but the only medication I had was Iboprofin.

The man speaks the truth. I am sure in Cali, insurance probably pays. I am believe we are all not realizing the potential for our body to heal itself these days, and I am more guilty than anyone.

No worries. The burning in my lower back will soon be replaced by tension and pain in my shoulders from having them on my desk for two weeks while I work on my new project. One of my neighbors is a massage thereapist. Just graduated and is partially deaf so he won't hear when I moan.

You've got it made! I swear you'll feel like a new man if the guy has studied deep tissue. I'm gonna start going AT LEASST once a month, especially after hunching over a computer day after day.
