To keep Ortiz in the lineup, he'll have to play first. Not good.

That would take Millar out of the lineup, unless he was moved to right and Nixon takes a seat on the pine.

I tend to agree. Millar's been hitting the ball. But they'll suffer defensively, at first and in right. Nixon made a few damned good plays in the field against the Spankers.

(I wish Manny didn't have to play in the field)

millar has been kinda cold, so i'm thinking trot will see some time in houston. they hardly have any lefty pitchers.

    ALCS series stats:

G AB R H 2B 3B HR RBI TB BB SO SB CS OBP SLG AVG
    Millar: 7 24 4 6 3 0 0 2 9 5 4 0 0 .379 .375 .250
    Nixon: 7 29 4 6 1 0 1 3 10 0 5 0 0 .207 .345 .207

looks like Millar has been better.

yeah, they've both sucked. but with trot being a better fielder and a lefty bat vs all the righty pitchers, i'd give him the nod. millar is still the coolest of the two tho.

Ortiz to first (can't take his bat out the lineup) and Millar in right. He'll probably get his usually 3 at bats or so and then get replaced defensively like he was at first base.
