Those NYE shows have always drawn huge, though. Surprised they didn't do the 4-5 shows they usually do. I think they screwed this up moving it based on people I know who've talked about it, but I never had much interest in going.

oh - also, Paste Magazine's #1 album of the year.

 

Wasn't the new release their major label debut? Total bomb. They'll be dropped by their label soon. Guy that signed them will most likely be fired too.

 

it's considered a top 25 album by tons of outlets. Peaked at #8 digital, and #16 on Billboard top 200. What evidence of a bomb is there - that you aren't a fan?

 

Yeah, I don't know that you can call that album a bust, especially considering how few albums any band sells these days.
