Looks pretty cool. I think I'll ask my nephew if he wants to see it.

Excellent movie, visually spectacular. The CGI stuff looks pretty damn real. See it in 3-D, Well worth the hype.

The mercenary commander is one angry old fucker.

Stunning visuals, but I just didn't care. Cameron brought nothing new to the table other than prettier cgi. Story was derivative/cliche/predictable/forgettable. Dances with Smurfs.

I will say that the cgi is so over the top that it took my brain a couple of minutes to adjust to the real world. Especially the huge difference in color palettes. Holy crap.

Oh, and the guy that does the main character sounds exactly like Benjamin Bratt. Kept thinkin of BB's character on Law & Order.

I don't think Imax 3D will cover up his hatred of the plot.

I saw it and thought it was worth seeing just for the 3D effects, which were amazing, but the story itself was just not all that stimulating. It needed more sub plots other than just a Cowboys vs Indians thing (with the Indians winning this time). I think they should have rated it R and thrown in some better bloody violence, a few seriously good Alien sex scenes (the Alien chicks were hot in a weird sort of way), and made it a little more unpredictable. Not a bad movie, but not great. I'd give it a 6 on a scale of 1-10. :dunce:
