Don't be surprised to see Rice retire if they get the ring this year

He might anyway - The Raiders are gonna have a rough time next year with the cap, and Rice might not want to 'rebuild' at 40.

But goddam. That catch and fumble recovery was incredible. Caught a couple of 3rd and long slants, too.

I really want the Raiders to win.

For some of those guys it's a chance at immortality. Woodson, Romo get another ring apiece, they certainly have a better chance of getting into the Hall. Same for Brown.

Jerry's career will not be complete without an east coast ring... :D
Jerry, come on over and go to the Superbowl with us next year... Something tells me at 40 plus, you'd still be better than Moose.

Yeah, that's my dilemma too. I friggin' hate Romanowski, but at the same time, and with the same amount of desire, I want to see Tim Brown get his ring. My humble opinion is that he is at least the second best WR to ever play the game. Given the same setting, he may have been as good as Rice, but that's pure speculation on my part.

Mark is right about Canton, though. I'd love it if they both retired after a Super Bowl win and were both inducted in 2007.

    Re: Re: Attention!

No argument here. And our WR corps could definitely use a good dose of Rice's work ethic.
