This is one we will need to have IMO.

They seem to be targetting Gonzlez a lot vs Miami, and utilized the heck out of Norwood in the passing game. I didn't watch the game, but they seemed to play fairly conservative in their opener, especially since the Miami O kept coughing up the ball.

White had a quite game, but we've had a time containing him, particuarly in Atlanta. And I'm sure we will see a lot of Turner, so this will be the run D's first big test.

They are going to want to put us in passing situations early so they can pass rush, so I'd expect them to be aggressive on O early. Babbineaux and Abraham each had a couple of sacks themselves. Our line play will have to be better. I'd expect them to sell out on the run early, as that's not their strength, and last year we got some explosive pass plays against that defense through the games. So we should have some opportunities though the air if we can protect.

guess they will be well prepared for our offensive shock and awe attack then.

This was my though exactly. I wonder, though, if the panthers get the ball first, can they go on those clock-draining drive and force them to adjust?

The Falcons just have to stuff the run and make Delhomme beat them. Seems a pretty easy scheme for a Falcons win. I'm sure every team we play in the near future is going to crowd the line to stop the run until Jake proves he can make them pay for doing it.

Abraham is gonna give Jake the rag doll treatment and make fumble at least once- making him look like the ball flailing doofus he is.

Our 1st drive we scored and were up 7-0 - the problem was everything after that. The Eagles adjusted, and we kept turning it over.

If Del Homo throws 1 int or fumbles once in the 1st quarter I would yank him. But John Fox will no doubt wait til the game is out of reach.
