    The loss of Hansen and JJ have hurt but the team still can't situation hit worth a crap. They suck at advancing runners and are pitiful and getting runs home from 3rd with less than 2 outs.

    Hamels announced as starter against Hudson. Kind of surprised but since there is a break after that game he'll fall right back into his normal rest for the playoffs.

    Back in August I would have said in a 7 game series the Braves could play with in anybody in the majors. Today? I doubt they could take Astros.

    Braves catching a break. Blanton announced as the starter tonight now. I think he has 3 starts all year due to injury. :math:
