Shave the Beard !!! I was at the game Monday night. The place was a zoo in the 9th inning, the crowd went crazy. It was a Monday night but fewer than 25,000 on hand to see a big game against the defending World Series Champs ??? Atlanta is a black hole for sports. My guess is that 50% of the fans that attend Braves games are from outside the Atlanta Metro and it's closer to 75% on weekends. Bumgarner pitched a good game for the Giants, Constanza is starting to become the story of the year for the Braves.

Been like that for years. No idea why Atlanta doesn't get behind the Braves more

Wow, Delgado looked good, but it was against the no hitting Gaints.

Part of it is Atlanta sucks as a sports town. They just lost the hockey team, the NBA team was just sold, and who wants to fight that traffic ? $12 to park is no great enticement either. People around the Southeast love the Braves but people in Atlanta, not so much.

The Bravos should be very exciting to watch for the next several years with all the good young pitchers they have in the system. Lowe seems too inconsistent to stick around and I really can`t stand hanson throwing motion. Even I could steal off his motion.

Kimbrel ties the rookie record for saves at 40. Braves been on a roll the last 2 weeks.

He had a solid second half for Florida last year too.
