    Beachy has solid command. He could be something special.

    Everyone on this team sucks horribly at hitting except McCann and David Ross. Pendleton and Parrish need to be fired immediately. This is the worst hitting team I've ever seen. It's a miracle that they are 10 games above 500 thanks to the ridiculous pitching that's been going on.

    I will say they are not great but it's too early to go into a panic. Ugla will get better as his career has shown. Freddi Freeman has the look of a very good young bat and glove for that matter. Alex Gonzalez is good, not great. Jason Heyward might be a superstar one day. I would like to see a hitter obtained in a trade but a lot of teams are scrambling for offense. It's not a miracle they are 10 over .500 IMO. It's a miracle they are not 15 to 20 over with the pitching they have. Numbers are down almost everywhere in the post steroid era. The player I would love to see them get is Jose Reyes but the Mets are not going to trade him in the division and the Braves will not fork out the bucks to sign him long term.

    Ichiro Suzuki has one of the oddest batting styles I`ve ever seen. Its almost as if he is pulling the bat through the strike zone while running toward first base. Odd but obviously effective.

    They had a chance to get within 3 of the phils today and proctor gives up a 2 run homer in the eight. I hope they whupped his ass in the clubhouse.

    LOL My bad, saw that 10 minutes after the fact and never got around to deleting this one and putting it in the Phils one. I heard a rumor the Braves were looking to move Jurjins for a BIG bat since they have so much pitching on the horizon? That and Jurjins has a medical history of arm issues? Would have to take HUGE stones to trade him now
