Freddi might start using them both according to Lefty-Righty matchups.

The pitching let the Bravos down tonight, but thats the first time I`ve seen a walk off balk. Normally when there is a night that Chipper gets 5 rbis then its a no-brainer that they will win, still a ugly win for the Braves is still a win.

Never seen a "balk off winner" either. But however it happens always happy with a Braves win.

It's pretty amazing that the Braves are at 10 games over .500 without Martin Prado the last 3 weeks, Dan Ugla hitting less than 200, Tommy Hansen on the DL, Jason Heyward missing a month, and just about no offense from the the Center Field position. Pitching solves a lot of problems.

Getting hammered 12-2 one night and doing the hammering the next night 10-1. Its a strange year.

It is, but it's very rare that the Braves don't get a well pitched game.

I said at the time that signing Uggla to that contract was one of the dumbest things I have seen any team do in a long time. When you're a team with a limited budget, you just can't afford to make mistakes like that. Even so, Atlanta has a brilliant future thanks to all these young arms. Hanson + Jurrjens + Teheran + Minor + Beachy + Medlen + Delgado? Are you serious? If they had just spent that Uggla money more intelligently on a young hitter then they would be set up for a long period of dominance.
