    Braves sweep Dodgers!!!!

Another impressive outing by Jerrjens, plus he's eating up some innings as well. Chipper tweaks his quad. :N1yeeaah:

Also looks like Soriano may not leave the DL on Tuesday according to the latest on the AJC website.

Atlanta now back at .500 :xyxthumbs:

Braves pitching is warming up. The staff has allowed 4 runs in the last 4 games. Tex is starting to hit and the team is not even healthy yet. I like this team, it could be a very good summer.

At the first sign of any trouble Cox just is yanking his starters. He yanked James and Smoltz and both were doing awesome and then all of a sudden he just pulls them after 5. The bullpen is going to have tons of work. Bennett is going to have more innings than John Smoltz at this rate.

There is no doubt that it's very early in the season and the 4 game winning streak has only gotten the team to .500. What I like is the teams potential if they get the bullpen healthy. The thing that I see as a problem is the thing that concerned me going into the season. Smoltz, Glavine, and Hampton need to stay off the DL.

He surprised me. I remember him being bombed pretty regularly last season. I hope he's learned a thing or two since then. A sweep of the Dodgers! Maybe they're starting to jell a little...

Smoltz is old, had TJS and has already missed a start with a sore shoulder. I wouldn't ever let him throw over 100 pitches unless it was a playoff game or must win regular season game. He absolutely has to stay healthy for the Braves to have any shot at the post-season.

You're lucky to get four or five solid innings out of James. He has a history of wearing down as the game goes on. He isn't MLB starter material.

    I like Jurrjens and Bennett.

Hudson needs to get his head out of his ass. This team needs him right now.

Smoltz gets his 3,000th K tonight. If this guy dosen't make it to Cooperstown, they should bolt the doors shut.

Evidently being above .500 frightens them.
