The Braves don`t deserve a playoff spot. They just suck too bad.

Doesn't look good for the Braves. The Phillies are good: Even the subs.

    dang

pushing it right to the edge. Hudson is the only hope. After they swept the Marlins I liked their chances to take at least one from the Phillies. Now not so sure. I didn't think the Padres could beat the Giants either after losing three of four at home to the freakin Cubs.

    Go Braves. Go Giants.

Would be wild if both the Braves and Padres win. A monday playoff between SF and SD for the division title then the loser would have to play the Braves in Atlanta on Tuesday to decide who gets the wildcard.

The hole at 3rd base is killing Atlanta. Conrad's errors in the games Friday and Saturday fueled big innings for the Phillies. Both were routine plays that have to be made. The one on Friday, if he just throws the ball to first the inning is over with the game still tied. Losing Chipper and Prado has sapped the team's offense too. Still there is hope that today Hudson can keep them in the game long enough for someone to come up with a clutch hit.

Why wasn't Infante covering second? This team looks more like the Bad News Braves than the Atlanta Braves. I keep waiting for Heyward or Ankiel to Kelly Leak, McLouth or Melky in the outfield. Both of those guys scare me when a ball is hit their way. At least Melky has a nice arm. Nate is just horrible.

Oh well, a win today with a Padre loss and all is healed.
