Charles Thomas was a one year wonder. He was also a WNC favorite since he graduated from Western Carolina University. He was moved up to fill in for an injured starter and gave the Braves a big spark in 2004. But like you say after he was traded his career struck out in Oakland. Good move by Atlanta. On The other side Atlanta should have re-signed Adam LaRoach last year. A great first baseman that always played well for them.

It was a dumb move to let LaRoche go. They've been trying to fill that position all season with Glaus, Hinske and now Lee.

The fightin Phils leading the charmed life as well. They get out hit 10-4 and win 1-0. Of course when you`re playing the last place Nats strange things like that happen.

Well you must know something the Braves don't know because they could have claimed LaRoche off waivers instead of Lee.

The last loss to the Rockies was a nut crusher. Leading 10-1 and getting your ass handed to you 12-10. Devastating.:blauwoog:

well at least the Phillies sucked it up against the Astros. It's been like ten games in a row where the Braves lead stayed right at 2 1/2.

I agree, its strange that their wins and losses mirror each other for that long of a time.

The loss on Wednesday was a ballbuster for sure. The defense is a big problem right now. The last month or so the Braves have been kicking it around.
