Hampton and Gammons should have retired three years ago.

2 straight, Smoltz looked good, Tex saves the day with a big defensive play in the 9th and a 2 run homer in the 8th.

    Muck the Fets!!!

I really like this team. If the old guys Smoltz, Glavine, etc... hold together they could play this fall.

Francour gets 7 RBI in win over the Nats. The broadcasters said that Hampton threw about 50 pitches in a bullpen session Friday. He may be ready soon unless he strains a nut.

The age of this year`s pitching crew is showing early. Glavin strains a hammy, Hampton has a bruised clit, Smoltz rubs his shoulder more than the baseball. When will it end? Another 1 run loss, are they going for a record?

That was my concern as posted going into the season. Smoltz, Glavine, and Hampton had to stay healthy. If Glavine is out, they will all have missed a start already. Braves are 0-6 in 1 run games.
