Should have done some research. LaRoche always turns it on in the second half, the Roy Oswalt of hitters.

It is going to be a rather interesting winter for the Braves. I don't see them making a lot of moves but it would seem that they will be looking to add some pop at the plate. A home run hitter would be nice at one of the corner outfield positions. They could be a very good team in 2010 with just a little more power.

Talk around Atlanta is that the Braves are trying to acquire 1B Adrian Gonzalez from San Diego. It would take a lot to get him but he could be the piece to make the difference in the Braves lineup. Several other teams obviously would like to get him if the Padres decide to trade him.

First base should not be one of their main concerns. That little league hitting outfield needs an influx of competition.

Braves resign Tim Hudson for three years at 28 million.

Having 6 starters is a good problem to have. Wren will get a chance to trade one but he might wait for a pitcher or two to have sore arms in the Spring. That would make teams a little more deperate to go out and get a starter.

I just hope they resign Larouche. He added a lot to the offense when he came back, not to metion he's pretty good with the glove at first too.

The Braves have signed Billy Wagner to be the closer for 2010. I guess Soriano is going elsewhere.
