Sheff played well when he was with the Braves. I don't know if he can still play effectively in the outfield but he can still hit. I think he's more apt to end up with an AL club.

Fuck Sheff. Detroit would not eat that salary if he was anything close to being worth keeping. The Braves need to roll the dice and go with what they have. The Phillies and Mets are probably better on paper, no matter what Atlanta does at this point.

Derek Lowe was lights out in the Opener against the Phillies. He allowed very few balls to get airborne. Maybe Frenchy is going to make a comeback this season, I sure hope so.

Congrats. Myers continues to frustrate the hell out of me and the Phillies. Go after them Brett, you've got the arm to do it!

yea, the Dodgers are going to miss him this year. Last night was standard Lowe, let that sinker stay up in the strike zone though and it's batting practice - that will only happen a couple times during the year. Lowe is solid, quiet guy on and off the field.

He might end up a bust but I could never understand why the Dodgers let Lowe get away without even a token effort to keep him. He eats innings, causes no problems, and wins games. I guess they needed to save some coin for Manny.

we needed to get a solid backup catcher, 2 more dependable infielders and of course Manny. It's weird investing on things other than pitching

Oh my God !!! Up 10-3 and lost 12-11 to the Phillies. Great to get two wins but it should have been a sweep.
