    In the 70s, Steinbrenner bought all the good players and won a lot.

    Now, it is the Dodgers

    Baseball needs a salary cap or it will push out all but a half dozen big market teams

    That's the thing, a good number of owners are just there for the tv money and don't try. Miami, tampa, Oakland for instance
