Jansen is no Will Smith. Or is he?

"The Braves traded Smith to the Houston Astros for Jake Odorizzi on August 2, 2022.[24] Smith made his Astros debut the following day versus the Boston Red Sox, allowing a solo home run in an otherwise clean ninth inning."

    Some things never change.

Some changes in the MBL rules. Kenley Jansen looks to like his mound time. The dude does have a weird slow pitch motion. It's like he twitches and rocks everyone to sleep before he makes the actual pitch. He'll have to speed it up with the new rules. They call it a pitch clock, but the hitter has to be ready to hit on the clock as well.
Nomar Garciaparra use to piss me off when his hitting routine. Whether he would swing or not he would step back and go through glove and uniform routine.
I was never on board with the shift. Then again it seemed the lost art of the bunt would have solved that thing. Do they not even teach the bunt anymore?
The rule changes will make the umps have a busier time. It seems they get paid well not to do all that much except for the home plate ump who stays busy.
