Please let them find a deal for BJ Upton...

They are losing a lot of defense.

The Bravos taking gambles with two new free agent singings.
A outfielder from the Orioles and a pitcher from Oakland.
    We`ll see...

They sign another infielder with low average and power.
Turning out to be a banner off-season for Braves fans.
Ervin Santana signs with another team. Not unexpected cause the Bravos were not going to make worth it for him to hang around.

Gavin Floyd to the Indians and Kris Medlen to the Royals.

The Bravos are under going some radical changes.

    Sounds about right to me.

    "
    Atlanta Braves (79-83)
Well, let’s see: They traded away the player with their highest WAR in 2014 (Jason Heyward); they traded away their leading home run hitter and RBI guy (Justin Upton); they traded away their starting catcher who hit 22 home runs (Evan Gattis); they’ve lost Ervin Santana and Aaron Harang, who combined for 64 starts.

Did the Braves overreact to a bad season? After all, two years ago they won 96 games; the year before, they won 94. And they had a young base of talent. General manager John Hart said he believes the Braves can compete in 2015, but he has to say that. The Braves are punting the next two years, hoping the young talent they received in the Heyward, Upton and Gattis trades will be ready when they move into their new park. "

It will be a struggle to keep the Bravos out of last place this upcoming season.
I see the pitching being ok, but I don`t see how they are going to score any runs.

    Bye BJ, hello Melvin.

Upton is entering the third year of a five-year, $75 million deal with Atlanta, the biggest free-agent contract in Braves history.

B.J. Upton will use his birth name after long going by an abbreviation for Bossman -- his father Manny's nickname -- Junior.

He endured a nightmarish 2013 season in which he hit only .184, struck out in more than one-third of his at-bats and was benched. Last season, Upton hit just .208 with 12 homers and 35 RBIs.

The speedy center fielder will be three seasons removed from his last season with the Tampa Bay Rays, in which he belted a career-high 28 home runs while batting .246. He has a career .243 average.

It won't be easy for Upton, who ranked among the lowest of every-day MLB players last season in several statistical categories. His .208 batting average was 146th out of 147 qualifying players, his OPS of .620 was 141st, and his strikeout percentage of 29.7 was 144th, according to ESPN Stats & Information.
