    Given that Beachy is out till who-knows-when with Tommy John surgery its good that JJ has a good showing.

    A rarity yesterday. The Bravos beat the Nationals. Holy smokes, it took a 103 degree day to help`em out.
    The mid-inning relief pitching was strength for the Braves last year, but this year(other than closer) the pitching has been cringe worthy.

    They need to show some confidence in him. I realize it's a tough decision when you're trying to make the play-offs but bringing a kid up for one game is brutal.

    They signed old Ben Sheets to a minor league contract. That kind of reeks of desparation.
